Doctor and Green Lake Medical Director

Liz Spencer

Dr. Spencer joined Seattle Veterinary Associates as a full-time veterinarian in 2018, bringing with her a wealth of experience in veterinary care. She started her career as a valued veterinary assistant at Green Lake Animal Hospital for five years, during which she also volunteered at the PAWS wildlife center. Her passion for wildlife rehabilitation was what initially sparked her love for veterinary medicine.

Dr. Spencer received her veterinary degree from Murdoch University in Perth, Australia in 2015. Her areas of interest include analgesia, behavior, and surgery, and she continues to find new areas of fascination in her field every day.

Outside of work, Dr. Spencer stays active with a variety of hobbies, including swing dancing, hiking, skiing, cooking, camping, herding, and travel. She shares her home with two border collie mixes named Ava Marie, Tug, a border collie named Rye, as well as a well-traveled cat named Eugene Holstein who meows with an Australian accent.
