Bridget has always held a deep love for animals, but their passion for veterinary medicine was truly sparked during high school while volunteering at a local animal shelter. Witnessing the profound difference the veterinary team made in the lives of shelter animals showed them just how rewarding this field could be.
Bridget holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Animal Biology from the University of British Columbia. With a strong educational background in animal welfare, they have a particular interest in how infectious diseases impact conservation efforts. Their long-term dream is to attend veterinary school and pursue a career in conservation, working in either wildlife rehabilitation or zoological medicine.
At home, Bridget is ruled by Aspen, a 7-year-old bunny who gets incredibly sassy when she wants food! Outside of the clinic, Bridget is a certified PADI Open Water diver and loves spending time in nature. You can usually find them sea swimming, hiking, or relaxing in a local café.
