Dr. Ellie Harris joined Seattle Veterinary Associates in 2025. Dr. Harris brings a deep passion for animal care to her practice. She is particularly interested in behavioral therapy, anesthesia management, pain control, and working up endocrine cases.
A Seattle native, Dr. Harris grew up playing soccer and is a big Sounders fan, following the team even when living away from the city. She attributes her comfort with the “constant whirlwind of veterinary medicine” to growing up with nine brothers and sisters. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, gardening, and taking long walks.
Dr. Harris has one dog, a pitbull/border collie names Hawk that delights in joining her mom for those long walks. She is very sweet and loves nothing more than swimming, biking, and playing with her favorite ball. While they have no other pets right now, she and her family have talked about getting a puppy soon.
