Jaclyn joined SVA in 2021, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge. She has a BA in International Studies from UW, which has given her a unique perspective on animal welfare and the importance of understanding cultural diversity in caring for pets.
Jaclyn has always had a love for animals, and working at SVA has allowed her to turn that passion into a fulfilling career. Her veterinary interests are breed-related health issues and animal behavior, and she enjoys learning more about these topics to better assist the veterinarians and pet owners she works with.
When she’s not at work, Jaclyn enjoys spending time with her pets and pursuing her hobbies. She is currently growing her plant collection and enjoys experimenting with different types of plants. In addition, she likes to sew and make rugs, creating beautiful and unique pieces in her spare time.
Jaclyn is the proud owner of three beloved pets: Lilo and Stitch, who are two sister cats, and Wilson the Italian Greyhound who lives with her parents but is the love of her life. She understands the importance of the special bond between pets and their owners and strives to provide that same level of care and love to all the animals she works with.
