Jamie came on board as one of our veterinary technicians at Richmond Beach Animal Hospital in January of 2023, bringing with her over two decades of experience in veterinary medicine. Jamie graduated with an A.A.S in Veterinary Technology from S.U.N.Y, Canton in 2001 and has been a licensed vet tech ever since.
Jamie’s love for animals started at a young age, and she always dreamed of becoming a zookeeper. She finds working with animals to be both rewarding and challenging and takes great pride in nursing sick pets back to health. She especially enjoys seeing the happiness on a family’s face when they get to take their pet home after a successful recovery.
When she’s not working, Jamie loves spending time with her family, which includes her partner and their four-year-old daughter. They enjoy reading together and dancing to music. Jamie has a soft spot for super soft blankets and stuffed plush animals, and is a big Formula One fan, although she doesn’t get to watch it as often as she’d like.
Jamie shares her home with three furry companions, including Sam, an eight-year-old male neutered chocolate lab, Josephine, a two-year-old female spayed black/calico/tortoiseshell cat, and Tie, a 14-month-old brindle Presa Canario/Belgian Malinois mix. Her passion for animals and her expertise in veterinary medicine make Jamie a valued member of our team at Richmond Beach Animal Hospital.
