Jasmin joined SVA in 2022. She is majoring in marine biology. She says she joined veterinary medicine because she knew at a young age she wanted to be “the voice for pets in the good and bad times.” She knows no two days are the same, but each day is rewarding and says, “being able to help humans alone with their pets amazes me.” But even more, “who doesn’t want to be surrounded by adorable fur babies all day, right?”
Her interest in animals and marine biology fits in perfectly with one of the things she loves to do during her free time—SCUBA diving. She hopes to be an aquatic vet one day. Outside of diving and playing with animals at work, she can be found spending time with her family and their 10-month-old Guinea pig named Toby.
