Dr. Laura Smith Lee, graduated from the University of Glasgow, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Glasgow Scotland. She has been practicing veterinary medicine for the past 14 years in both General Practice and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Smith Lee started her career in veterinary medicine by completing internships in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey and in Small Animal Surgery at the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center in Texas. Before veterinary medicine, Dr. Smith Lee was a science educator for Teach for America after graduating from Williams College in Williamstown Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts in Geoscience.
As a veterinarian, Dr. Smith Lee is dedicated to working with owners to make informed decisions for the well-being of their pets. She is passionate about fostering the human-animal bond via the thorough practice of veterinary medicine and surgery, attention to detail and compassionate communication.
Dr. Smith Lee lives with her husband Tom and 2 rescue dogs, Senta & Petey, all of whom are ruled over by the cat, Duchess Tinton. In her spare time, Dr. Smith Lee enjoys spending time with family, travelling, being outdoors, and working as a lifeguard.
