Dr Claire Johnston finished undergraduate studies at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Advancing through veterinary school, she quickly became passionate about small animal internal medicine and went on to complete an internship at a private practice in San Francisco and then completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Iowa State University in 2019.
Dr Johnston values the human-animal bond and strives to strengthen that bond while also improving the quality of life of her patients and their humans. She enjoys numerous aspects of internal medicine with a special interest in gastrointestinal disease and nutrition along with auto-immune and hormonal diseases. She offers consultation, endoscopy, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
