Veterinarians & Staff

Kendra is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and Clinic Coordinator at Broadview Veterinary Hospital. A lifelong Washingtonian, she has spent nearly 20 years in the Seattle-area veterinary community and is so grateful to join a team with deep local roots.

While she has worked in a variety of clinical settings, her heart lies in community medicine, emergency medicine, evidence-based inventory management, and all of the “people stuff.” Pets don’t bring themselves to the doctor or manage their own care, and supporting the people who love them is one of the greatest joys and privileges of her work.

After years in general practice and a brief stint in veterinary insurance, Kendra found her first “home” in high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter (HQHVSN) and community medicine in 2014, and later spent nearly four years managing clinical care for Pasado’s Safe Haven. In 2019, she found a new love in emergency and critical care, where she has focused much of her work since. A lifelong learner and problem-solver, she is committed to growing her skills while helping build a more sustainable, human-centered approach to veterinary medicine. She is currently applying to the Veterinary Human Support Certificate program through the UT College of Veterinary Medicine and UT College of Social Work to better support the people behind the pets.

Kendra believes veterinary medicine is a team sport and is passionate about contributing to teams that provide accessible, high-quality care while staying grounded in a genuine, lived commitment to doing the right thing and finding creative ways to say “yes.”

At home, Kendra shares life with Franny, her deaf terrier mix; two senior orange cats — Nugget (the important one) and Lilo; and her son Silas, who is her favorite person. Though she has proudly never foster-failed, many of her friends and colleagues have pets that once lived in her bathroom. In her spare time, Kendra can be found adventuring with her toddler, learning to love her Bible, hiking, laughing, and writing lists.
