Chalaia joined Seattle Veterinary Associates in 2026 at Broadview Veterinary & Urgent Care as a veterinary assistant. She loves dogs and cats but prefers cats that also loves dogs. She was drawn to veterinary medicine by her love of both animals and science. In her spare time, she enjoys fashion and playing video games. Chalaia intends to spend her vacations travelling and is most interested in seeing Southeast Asia. She shares her home with three animals: Lola a papillon cross who is far too smart and uses her athletic abilities to excel in the sport of food stealing, Vern a Pekingese mix who is not nearly as smart and proves it by chasing his tail, and Winnie a black cat Chalaia calls the “Queen of Puppies” who hates other cats and loves to sleep on top of the refrigerator.
