Kara joined SVA in October 2023. She grew up in the south staying at least long enough to graduate college before moving to Seattle, but somehow doesn’t seem to have a drawl. Animals have always been a big part of Kara’s life. She has a proud history of volunteering for the local Humane Society. When she’s not working or volunteering, she can be found enjoying the beach with her yellow lab Hailey, a dog who unsurprisingly loves to swim, while Kara collects shells. She also has a lovely long-hair tuxedo cat at home that loves his toys.
