Kristine Mortimer

Veterinarians & Staff

Dr. Kristie Mortimer is a proud Wyoming native, having grown up there before earning her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Wyoming. Her passion for veterinary medicine led her to Iowa State University where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery.

With over 20 years of experience in the Seattle area, Dr. Mortimer has honed her expertise in a variety of settings. She served as medical director at Sno-Wood Veterinary Hospital, where she provided care for a wide range of exotic pets, and also spent 10 years working in emergency medicine at the now-closed emergency clinic “ACCES.” Today, she continues to care for patients both in-clinic and through telemedicine as a veterinarian at SVA.

Dr. Mortimer is deeply committed to supporting the human-animal bond and feels privileged to be a part of her patients’ lives. She shares her home with her husband, Dr. Jeb Mortimer, their four children, one dog, two cats, and a number of chickens. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, reading, and exploring the world.
