Maryam Salt

Dr. Salt is a highly qualified veterinarian who has dedicated her career to providing exceptional care to her patients. She began her journey in 2001, earning a B.S. in Zoology and Anthropology from the University of Washington. Her passion for veterinary medicine led her to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University, which she earned with honors in 2006. Following graduation, Dr. Salt honed her skills through a medicine and surgical internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital and continued her education through a certification in veterinary medical acupuncture from Colorado State University in 2010. In 2015, she completed a specialty internship in diagnostic imaging at a private specialty hospital in San Diego, further solidifying her expertise in this area.

As a veterinarian, Dr. Salt has a passion for diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, geriatric pet care, and pain management. She has also been an active volunteer in the veterinary community and has spent time in the South helping animals affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Originally from England, Dr. Salt now calls North Seattle home. She shares her life with a beloved Chihuahua named Bowie and enjoys a balanced life filled with physical activity, travel, and quality time with friends. When she’s not working, Dr. Salt can be found swimming, exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, traveling to sunny destinations, learning to sail, and making memories with those she loves.
